Kaitlin wrote to say that she spoke with a Disney official and said:

"GUESS WHAT! I GOT HOLD OF SOMEONE WHO WORKS AT DISNEY, and i got to talk to them about vmk closing down and what we can do to stop it!!!!! It took alot of waiting time to get transfered, but it was totally worth it. the guy was so helpful and i explained what VMK was ( he was a little unfamiliar with it ) and after I told him how heartbroken we were, he really felt for us and said he was on the internet doing everything he could ( and calling other people ) to hook me up with a producer form vmk or someone behind this decision of closing it down. I told him about the website, and how we have nearly 20,000 signatures protesting shutting our virtual world down and he was AMAZED! he said it was Crazy how many we had and that was really great, and he was astonished when i sad that Disney has so far repeatedly refused to recognize our work of trying to stop it from closing down. finally, in the end i didn't get to talk to a producer but he let me know that he honestly had no idea of how to get in contact with them but he told me to give this address to all of my friends and all the other players and even said to flood the email address with our letters of how sad and how its affecting us and just to pretty much let disney know how awful this decision is! i have never seen this email - but i know its real because a real disney guest information gave it to me! i jsut thought i would share it with ya'll so we can do all that we can... before our nightmare becomes reality :(
