Virtual World Protest: Avatars March on VMK for 2nd Save VMK Walk
Another successful walk was staged and carried out today in VMK. This time there were two Save VMK Walk Rooms (thanks SoupDragon!!!). There were queues in each room and things were hopping especially for SoupDragon. Here are some pics from one of the staging rooms. Thank you again to all who participated...see you at the next Save VMK Walk!!

No mention of promotion, promotion with expiration date or Disneyland's 50th Anniversary....

No mention here of Disneyland's 50th Anniversary...or that VMK was a promotion that would end, what is mentioned is that VMK is an online game...

VMK First Look from June 2005 - No Reference to Promotion
"I was looking at some of our old issues of "Disney Adventures" from 2005 & 2006. I know when we created our avatars in VMK we received 50th shirts but I do not see any reference to the 50th anniversary in the advertisements. So how would a child know this game was a promotion and would end?..."

No reference to the 50th Anniversary, no reference to VMK being a promotion...as MomsGoneGoofy notes above, how would a child (or parent) have any idea that this game was temporary?
