VMK to Re-Open until Halloween? Could it be True?

Wouldn't this truly be the Year of a Million Dreams?

"Just got this from Ridley Pearson, the author of several wonderful books where characters talk to one another inside VMK. The entry is on his website, and is dated today, Friday, May 23, 2008:

"There are rumors circulating about VMK possibly being extended (for long time users) for a few months longer. I can't confirm anything at this time, but keep your fingers crossed."

We now have word from trusted sources who say that VMK will open through October -- but only for those who are already signed up on VMK. So we'll see what happens. Stay tuned for more info as it becomes available... Thank you, Ridley, and everyone of you for your support!! Save VMK!!!!"

Sunday, May 25, 2008 False VMK I'm now told by my "insider" that indeed it may be only a rumor (about VMK). Sad, because my "source" of the rumor was another top insider. But alas, I'm afraid VMK is gone. I'm disappointed too.... Ridley

Disney has been WAY to greedy. They get TONS of customers at Disney parks and all the other websites the run. I'll play the websites but NO memberships. Walt made Disney Land for his daughter. And people don't get to go to Disney Land or any disney park. But there are some poor people who don't get to go to disney land. Now what do we do? Oh I know! I know! VMK! But since its closed... Disney made a mistake. Yes it will open in October 09. Its posted on youtube by a host. If it doesn't, the next time i go to disney, ill ask a staff why they closed it and if they will reopen it. I knew someone who was in the hospital with cancer who played vmk. now what can she do? she can't go to disney. maybe disney needed money for a bigger server because of all the lag, but in the process they had to close it. it takes a long time to open a new bigger server. and a whole lot of money.

I played vmk when i had mono and my Vmk friends were there with me every step of the way and also when i found out i had a bad disease they were their to comfort me when i felt scared

well its been a couple years now and VMK is not open there four i sware i will never play nor watch or even do anything that icludes disney until they reopen it because they are make million and millions ans millions of people so sad, i hope they reopen it if walt was still here i know he would do something about this nonsence! :( i truely hope my dream can come true

There was no better game than VMK. It has taught me many important things, but mostly to never trust Disney anymore.
