Gamespot is the world's leading gaming industry and game review site, and now, respected Gamespot blogger DSJam (VMK: TheMadDuck) has a great article on VMK, with some others on the way. He explains why he likes VMK:
"The reason people are so upset, myself included is that VMK was a safe place for kids to go online, be entertained, and make friends without having to fear inappropriate contact with predators. To me it was simply a way to get a Disney fix without spending thousands on airfare, rental cars, food, etc. And it was free of all the griefing and cursing found in so many other online games. I could go to VMK without the fear of being annoyed by foul-mouthed kids whose idea of intelligent discourse is spewing as many racial and homophobic slurs in the shortest time possible, like some kind of tourettes olympics."
