So...is VMK not an immersive environment? It's about as immersive as you can get...and Club Penguin an obvious fit? Okay, I just don't get this one...but what I am getting is that I am in agreement with SaveVMK.com that it looks more like Lane Merrifield's (co-founder and general manager of Club Penguin and executive VP of the Walt Disney Internet Group) doing to send VMK to an early grave. After all, I'm guessing he has more incentive to make the Club Penguin numbers look good and might have felt that taking VMK out of the vitual world picture can only bode well for CP. If he was thinking a little more broadly, he could have found there were synergies to be had by keeping VMK in the picture and utilizing it as a vehicle to further promote Club Penguin.
